The Monroe
County/City of Rochester Coalition for Crime Victims was founded in the early
1980's through the efforts of several local, city, and county victim service
agencies. The coalition is committed to increasing community awareness of
victims' rights and the issues surrounding them.
Each year our goal is to plan events during the nationally recognized
Crime Victims' Rights Week. We also work to improve the
collaborative efforts and solidarity between victim service agencies. We are
committed to providing a cohesive network of programs directed toward improving
the quality of care of victims of crime.
If you or someone you know has been a victim of a crime, we hope that you will find this website useful in connecting you to victim assistance providers in the City of Rochester and surrounding Monroe County. There are a number of services in our area that can help.
You are not alone!
